In 2018, our founder’s life changed dramatically with a diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer. The cancer had spread beyond the breast to the lymph nodes and chest muscle.

What followed was a difficult journey of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.

After only three rounds of chemotherapy, the side effects became overwhelming — physically, mentally, and emotionally. It was a turning point. Healing, we realized, is not only about medical treatment. It is also about how we care for our bodies every single day.

During recovery, our founder began exploring natural approaches to wellness. This journey led to one powerful understanding:

True health begins with what we eat.

Food was no longer simply about flavor — it became nourishment, strength, and prevention.

Finding clean, chemical-free vegetables and herbs was not easy, so the decision was made to grow them at home. What started as a small personal garden gradually grew into a farm guided by seasonal growing practices and deep respect for nature. We believe food does not need to look perfect — it needs to be grown with care and integrity.

From this experience, Happy Herb Cooking Class was created.

Our cooking classes are not just about recipes. They are about connection — to the land, to traditional Thai wisdom, and to mindful living. Guests walk through the garden, harvest fresh ingredients, and learn how Thai cuisine balances flavors and supports well-being.

Today, Happy Herb is more than a farm and more than a cooking class. It is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the simple joy of preparing food with your own hands.
