Welcome to
Happy Herb Farm in Chiang Mai
Every day and every season brings a different colour, aroma and harvest story to our farm.
At Happy Herb Farm, nature is always changing. The herbs, vegetables, flowers and plant stages you see may vary depending on the weather, season and natural growing cycle. This is part of what makes each visit unique.
Throughout the year, our Thai kitchen garden is always active, with fresh herbs and seasonal ingredients ready for guests to pick, smell, taste and cook with during our farm-to-table experiences.
Our cannabis plants follow a natural growing cycle of approximately four months. Their stage may change from young plants to vegetative growth, flowering, peak bloom or harvest depending on the time of your visit.
Some seasons allow us to grow them beautifully outdoors, creating wonderful photo opportunities. During the rainy season, we often grow them carefully inside our greenhouse to protect the plants and keep them healthy.
All photos of our tours, farm, herbs and cannabis plants on this website come from real Happy Herb Farm experiences. They are not AI-generated. Because farming depends on nature, weather and season, your visit may not look exactly the same as the photos.

Is the farm always the same throughout the year?
No. Herbs, vegetables, flowers and cannabis plant stages change with the weather, season and natural growing cycle. Our Farm Updates show what guests are currently likely to see.
Can I ask what is growing before I book?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp before booking and we will gladly tell you what is currently growing, blooming or ready to harvest.
Is the cannabis farm tour suitable for everyone?
The Cannabis Farm Tour is for adults aged 18 and over. It is an educational experience focused on responsible growing, wellness and traditional Thai herbal knowledge.
Will I harvest ingredients myself?
Usually, yes. Guests can harvest suitable herbs and seasonal vegetables for the cooking class. The exact ingredients depend on what is ready on the day.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes. Free pickup and drop-off are available in Chiang Mai Old City, Nimmanhaemin, Night Bazaar and nearby areas. Please share your accommodation when booking.
Do you offer vegetarian, halal or gluten-free options?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten-free options can be arranged. Please tell us about dietary needs when booking so we can prepare properly.

Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
GAP is Thailand’s standards framework for crop quality, responsible farm inputs, record-keeping, traceability and environmental care.
Happy Herb holds separate certificates for green oak under TAS 9001-2021 and cannabis herbs under TAS 3502-2018, both valid through 21 December 2027.
